2. How will the attendant communicate with the patron?
Can you specify a simple speak thru, or do you need amplified voice transmission through an intercom or amplified speaker?
Simple speak thrus can be made from clear lexan for visibility, aluminum or stainless steel. Consider the noise volume the attendant will encounter, and add an amplified speaker or intercom if needed.
3. How much security do you need?
Do you want a simple separation of the front of house from back of the house, or do you need bullet resistant protection for the attendant? This will affect whether you use a fixed pane or operable pane security window design, and what type of glass you will use. (1/4” Tempered, ¾” Smash & Grab, Level One Bullet Resistant, or Level Three Bullet Resistant).
4. Will the patron be driving up or walking up to the security window?
If driving up, you will want to specify a security drawer with a flip down face so the customer can reach the product/documents.
